My Style

I am a hobbyist with some simple equipment and an eye for true emotions and beautiful details.  I am open to a variety of photographic styles, but am best at capturing real life moments and emotions rather than the standard, sit still and say cheese ones we've all sat through. 

I'm available for all kinds of family photos - everything from births to memorial services.  If it's important to your family and you want to be able to savor and re-live the memories through photography, I'm happy to grab my camera and come along. 


My Background

I have two little boys, an active baby, and a huge extended family, so anything your kids, spouses or in-laws do or say won't phase me.  With a little bit of advanced planning and plenty of freedom to move about and have fun, we'll be sure to capture plenty of good images. 

Having said that, I also understand that sometimes the best laid plans aren't enough.  If your kids are sick or things aren't coming together, let me know.  I'm flexible!

My Fee

I believe that good family photography should be affordable and accessible.  My fees include the following:

• phone or email consultation
• travel to a local site of your choice
• photo session
• a thumb drive full of edited photos

Half hour session:  $125

One hour session:  $175

Two hours or more:  let's talk

I want you to love your photos and am happy to talk with you about additional editing (think:  cosmetic touch-ups, black and white or sepia images, specialty cropping, etc.) for a small additional fee.
